A little history... the Network Solutions' (NSI) Domain Name Registration Monopoly:
From 1997 to Summer 1999, all domain names were reserved/registered through one organization called InterNic and a company called Network Solutions - Network Solutions was the government-appointed company who transacted the actual domain name registrations/reservations.  Since May, 1999, ICANN deprivatized the domain name registration industry to open the market up for competition.   

What does this mean to you???  

This means: 

YOU can CHOOSE the registrar of your domain name.  

You can transfer your existing domain name from your current provider (like Network Solutions, Register.com, etc...) to our Registrar - OpenSRS.  

A Transfer does not affect your ownership or rights in anyway.  Your domain will continue to be registered at the InterNIC.  A Transfer is the process whereby you are switching Registrars to take advantage of competitive domain name pricing and services.

During the transfer, we'll add a year to your registration expiration date for only $25 - thereafter, you may renew your domain name (up to 10 years) at our everyday low prices!

1 year registration: $30 (only $30/year)
2 year registration: $45 (only $22.50/year)
3 year registration: $60 (only $20/year)
